Tango and swing on this fabulous cruise through the Caribbean. Sandy beaches, spectacular moonrises and lots of fun. We expect as many as 500 dancers on this cruise! Tango at Sea is collaborating with Kom og Dans of Norway for this sailing. Kom og Dans sailed March 2010 with 430 swing dancers from Norway and Sweden, in addition to 120 from the USA. Please book early for great cabin location. Ports of call include Montego Bay, Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands and Cozumel, Mexico. Sailed from Galveston, Texas.

Tango at Sea has reserved a block of rooms for $159 per room for 3 days Pre and 3 days Post of our cruise dates.

The one-bedroom Suites feature 840 sq. ft, a separate bedroom, bathroom, most with private balcony, living area, dining area and completely equipped kitchens, data-port capabilities, voicemail, and two televisions.

Surrounding area within a block is the Galleria complex where endless shopping, entertainment and numerous restaurants and services are steps from the front door.

Reservation rates disappear after March 19, 2011, so book your cruise and hotel early.  Rates include breakfast buffet in McKinley’s Restaurant for up to two guests per room.  The buffet priced at $16.95 makes this a great hotel/breakfast rate.  Houston’s hotel tax rate is 17%.  Reservations will be honored on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The Doubletree Hotel has an excellent shuttle service. Cost from Hobby to hotel is $55 per cab and could hold 3 guests; cost from Bush to hotel is $65 and could also hold 3 guests. Each guest will arrange their own transport from the airports to the hotel of their choice. Transfers from The Doubletree Hotel to Port of Galveston will be arranged by Tango at Sea. Approximate cost will be $20-25 pp each direction. This is the only hotel where Tango at Sea will provide transfer service.
